How it works
Two buttons on every listing. One list for all of it.
Stay Away Fit adds Hide and Save to each listing on Booking.com search results and property pages. That’s all it does, and it does it quietly.
The extension is in development and not yet available. This page shows how it is designed to work.
Getting started, once the beta opens
Add it to Chrome
Install it from the Chrome Web Store. It asks for one thing: permission to work on Booking.com pages.
Pin it to your toolbar
Click the puzzle-piece icon at the top right of Chrome, then the pin next to Stay Away Fit.
Search as usual
Open Booking.com. Hide and Save now appear on every listing.
On every listing
- Hide
- Takes the listing out of your results straight away, and keeps it out next time.
- Save
- Puts it on your shortlist, with room for a note so you remember why you liked it.
- On the property page too
- The same two buttons sit next to the property’s name. If you hid it before, you’ll see when, with a way to restore it.
Changed your mind?
Every hide can be undone on the spot. Want to see everything for a moment? Click the small “hidden · Show” button above your results, and hidden places come back until you click it again.
Your list
Everything you hid or saved, in one place. Search it, add notes, restore anything, export a copy, or delete it all.

On, off, at a glance
Click the icon in your toolbar to see your counts, switch it off for a site, or open your list. A plain reminder sits at the bottom: your data stays in this browser.
